Reviews and Ratings
My stay was quite disappointing. While the location offered beautiful views, the hotel itself does not live up to the 'resort' title it claims. The rooms, although spacious, lacked basic amenities and the dining options were subpar and overpriced. Service was lacking, making my overall experience frustrating.
Our stay was a mixed experience at the resort in the Marlborough Sounds. While the location was stunning and the kayaking was a highlight, the room we were given felt more like a motel than a luxury resort, and we were disappointed by the lack of amenities. The dining experience could also use improvement, especially with cocktail options and basic supplies. Overall, it's a nice getaway, but not worth the high price tag we paid.
The hotel is set in a stunning location with breathtaking views of the bay, which made my stay particularly enjoyable. The room I had was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely deck perfect for relaxing with a drink while taking in the scenery. Although the staff were helpful and friendly, the overall dining experience was underwhelming, with limited options and inconsistent quality. While I appreciated the guest laundry facilities, I did find the accommodation slightly overpriced for what it offered.
We had an interesting stay, combining stunning views and a beautiful setting with some disappointing experiences. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing great views, but the dining service was extremely slow and the quality of food did not meet our expectations. The staff were nice but seemed overwhelmed. Overall, it shows promise but needs considerable improvement in certain areas.
We had an amazing experience celebrating my wife's birthday at this hotel. The cleanliness and spaciousness of our accommodation were impressive, complemented by stunning views. On the downside, while the restaurant had a couple of vegan options for us, we did encounter some challenges with the meal options and service during our stay. Overall, it's a lovely spot that's worth a visit again.
